Packaging & Packaging Waste Regulations
The European Union has, on the 12th August 2026, started enforcing the requirements of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) Act.
The main points of the PPWR Act:
- To reduce packaging waste and increase recyclability
- Restrict the use of harmful PFAS chemicals
- Harmonize labelling
