What about water?

In order to operate Peak Scientific’s Intura Hydrogen generators your lab needs a supply of deionized water which is where the Milli-Q 2Series® and Milli-DI® Water Purification Systems from Merck can provide an on-site deionised water source for your Intura hydrogen GC gas generators.

Why deionised water matters

DI water is crucial for hydrogen generators in labs. It ensures high-quality hydrogen production by protecting the PEM cell and preventing impurities that could affect the accuracy of lab results. Using DI water guarantees the production of high-purity hydrogen, vital for precise analysis.

Using poor quality water can irreparably damage the PEM cell, leading to oxygen breakthrough, hydrogen contamination, and increased power demand. The use of incorrect water quality will void the warranty.
