PEAK's product showcase this week places the spotlight on our latest product, the Genius 3051 nitrogen and dry air generator, which has been designed for Shimadzu's LCMS-8050 or LCMS-8060.
Genius 3051
The Genius 3051 is an on-site nitrogen and dry air gas generator built specifically to supply Shimadzu's LCMS-8050 and LCMS-8060 instruments. This generator provides two gas outputs, one of nitrogen at up to 26 L/min and one of dry air at 20 L/min, which is suitable for operating two LCMS-8050 or LC-MS 8060 instruments in 'standard gas delivery mode' or a single instrument when operated in ‘high flow gas delivery mode’. Launched on the 1st of June 2016, this generator is the latest edition to PEAK's Genius series of integrated compressor laboratory nitrogen gas generators. These generators are designed primarily for LC-MS, and the 3051 is another shining example of PEAK's dedicated solutions for the world's leading instrument manufacturers, unlike other gas generator manufacturers who take a "one-size-fits-all" approach to on-site gas generation.
Our Genius series of nitrogen generators include internal compressors for labs which do not rely on an external source of compressed air and want to be sure that the compressed air being supplied to their instruments is at a steady flow with minimal disruption. For most labs this means that they can be certain that no extra contaminants can enter their instrument and affect their analysis. The 30 range of Genius products feature increased flow rates when compared with other models in the Genius series and in most cases will have the capacity to supply two instruments, or can be used for applications which require especially high flow rates.
PEAK have also engineered lower flow rate gas generation solutions suitable for a single Shimadzu's LCMS-8050 and LCMS-8060 instrument operated in 'standard gas flow delivery mode'. For labs with an external supply of high quality compressed air, the Infinity 1051 is more than capable of supplying the required gas to either the LCMS-8050 or LCMS-8060 and for labs without an external supply of high quality compressed air, the Genius 1051 features integrated compressors to provide a standalone on-site nitrogen gas supply for either of these instruments.
