Kelsey MacDonald shines at the ASI Ladies Scottish Open 2021

A windy weekend in Fife certainly didn’t hinder Kelsey’s performance at the ASI Ladies Scottish Open over the weekend. Ending with a 281, seven under par, score for the weekend landed Kelsey with a 15th place finish and a much desired spot at the AIG Women’s Open at Carnoustie next week.

As well as making it to Carnoustie, Kelsey managed to snatch the Jock MacVicar Leading Scot Trophy as the leading Scot over the weekend.

Kelsey said “I've been caught short every single time getting into The Open by one shot or by a couple spots on the Order of Merit, so to finally get in next week is fantastic.”

We can’t wait to see how Kelsey fares at Carnoustie.
