THE ROLE: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high achieving Sales Executive to make a significant contribution to the growth of this award-winning, international technology business. Reporting to the Senior Territory Manager, this new role will be located in Abu Dhabi, with extensive travel throughout the Gulf Region countries including, UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi and Kuwait.

You will manage and develop the business with particular focus on end user accounts. Your role will also involve providing technical support and advice to customers. Your strategic planning will encompass the analysis of key regions and sectors for growth, and subsequent implementation.

Exploiting new market opportunities to expand our customer base and grow the business will entail:

  • Supporting customers throughout the specification and sales process including negotiating new contracts
  • Developing new sales leads to grow the existing market & pipeline, with real focus on the Gas Chromatography market and customer solutions
  • Maintaining and developing an accurate and updated customer database (CRM)
  • Business development, with a real focus on long term customer relationships across all major end user accounts
  • Working collaboratively with the territory managers to ensure sales strategy across the region is being followed

THE CANDIDATE: You will have customer focussed sales experience in the Gulf region countries, with the ability to solve technical and commercial problems. You will have strong commercial acumen with a passion for international business and have the ability to exceed challenging revenue targets. You must demonstrate excellent inter-personal skills, proper time-management skills and the ability to develop relationships. Experience of working with testing laboratories within the oil/gas/petrochemical industries would be highly beneficial.
