UWS Research Poster Competition

PEAK’s Engineering Director, Chris Pugh, is making his way to The University of the West of Scotland (UWS) in Paisley to judge a poster competition, where all 2nd year research students will develop a visual representation of their current study.

The competition provides an ideal opportunity for discussion and knowledge-sharing, from which students, academic staff and partners from industry and the community have benefitted from in previous years.

Speaking on behalf of the event, Chris stated:

“It is an honor to be asked to be a judge for this competition. As Engineering Director for PEAK I totally understand the need for further education as it promotes creative thinking, gives our young people better skills which, in turn, helps industry thrive. I am very much looking forward to seeing what I am sure will be high quality presentations and helping to decide on the winning poster.”

The event is held at the UWS campus today, 29th April, and is expected to run from 9.30-2pm.

Good luck to all students entering the competition from all at PEAK.
